I've never worn anything like this before. Until I recently received a gold chain and a nice looking watch as a gift. It still feels like a foreign object on the wrist, but I think I like it. How do you see it?

I have a Seiko turtle as my everyday beater watch. I'm so used to it now that I feel annoyed if I happen to forget to wear it, cause I'm used to looking at time from my wrist. Once you get used to it, it's like underwear, can't go without it.

It probably varies from country to country, when it comes to watches here, it's mostly about Apple watches or some other sports watches. Normal watches are quite rare.

A proper watch is absolutely ok. A giant gaudy Invicta....well, to each their own.

A SINGLE gold bracelet or something, also kind of ok, especially if you are hairy, tanned, on the beach, and preferably in the mafia.

Any kind of beaded bracelet, UNLESS it was made for you by your daughter, is a hard no go.

And then there is this.....unless you are a hippy pirate, FUCK NO!

Acceptible ONLY when going a viking...

I'm a simple guy, I only wear a Seiko watch. And my wedding ring but I mean of course

Only if I'm going out out, then I'll match my watch to my shoes and belt. Seiko Sarb 035 is a classy timepiece for a decent price and looks good with a strap or bracelet.

I have a Nomos Tangente, Meistersinger Pangaea a Swatch x Omega Saturn and a retro Casio calculator watch.

Starting to focus on the lesser known or microbrands as they sometimes offer the same clocks/timepieces meaning you have very good quality. Also for a much more interesting price.
