Please watch, for the good of humanity. Even if it means not watching football for 30 minutes, just watch it.

tivo has been set with a season pass since day one. modified the season pass to hold on to all episodes after I couldn't make myself delete any of the last 5 or 6 episodes from last season.

best show on TV.

If you aren't a Nielsen viewer it doesnt really matter if you watch or not.

I'll be watching it when I get home from work tonight.

Do you have to be a redneck to be a Nielsen watcher?

not entirely true. Tivo data has been tabulated into nielsen for awhile IIRC. Also there were rumors that other DVR data is tabulated into Nielsen as well.

I've made a huge mistake....

I was a Nielsen viewer for a week earlier this year. As luck would have it, AD had already completed it's season, so I wrote AD in the "Is there anything that you usually watch that was on during this week?" section. If Higgleytown Heros becomes a prime time show, you can blame my daughter.

nuts to airing a new season before the dvds of the last season are available.
argh, that is so annoying. i'd actually forgotten about what had happened to Oscar before the whole imoscar.com website thing came up.

I think that that tends to happen when the network people and the Home Entertainment people aren't really working in sync. It still strikes me as really bad planning, though.

Anyway, I have to miss the show tonight due to a lecture... god, that fucking blows.

AFAIK it's coming out Oct 18th, the same time as Batman.

I got all the episodes off of torrent until then. The last few episodes were understandibly fast paced but as a result was packed with more funny.

Arrested Development is great, but definitely a bit overrated.

But dammit, people need to stop watching it. I'm still shocked Fox has given it this long. I don't see it going past this season if the ratings stay the same though. :\

...

What??

Darn people with different opinions!

Wait, are we allowed to mention torrenting on here now? (For TV shows, we should be, but I'm never sure.)

Oh...I don't know, I thought it was ok. I do plan to pick up the DVD anyways, hopefully it'll have more extras.

Perhaps talking about torrenting Pay Per Views would be not allowed, which I can see why. Or if this show was on a cable network most people don't get (like HBO).

Am I the only one who thinks this "Nobody's watching the show" ad campaign is not doing Arrested Development any favors? Seems like admitting that your ratings suck is not exactly going to convince people to watch....

I'd say give it about 3 shows before giving up hope for the show.

It's worked for everyone else I've told before, so maybe it will work again!

I really hope somebody sticks this up online.

We don't get it in the UK

Do you mean the show in general, or the third series? 'Cause it's on BBC2 on Sunday nights, around 11. Yep got to love the way the head of acquisitions at the BBC saw the show, said "this is great, we've got to have this, so we can bury it in a late night slot where no-one will ever see it". At least with it being on so late it won't get taken off for weeks at a time for Snooker, unlike Buffy.
