An Ottawa artist is coming face-to-face with the lawlessness of the web and an international story reviving allegations of sexual misconduct by deceased pop star Michael Jackson.

Jonathan Hobin has gained artistic notoriety for his photo works depicting children acting out disturbing news events and traumatic situations.


One image depicts a child resembling Jonbenet Ramsey, the six-year-old girl found murdered in her parents' Boulder, Colorado, home on December 26, 1996.

According to an online article by a celebrity gossip publication called Radar Online, Hobin's image was confiscated by the Santa Barbara sheriff's department in a 2005 search of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

"I started to get texts and emails at three in the morning the other day … at first (I was) excited that Michael Jackson was a fan, despite it being part of his (alleged) sex den," Hobin told All In A Day host Alan Neal on Friday.

"In truth I knew right away that actually it debunked the story of the day I guess about Michael Jackson because I knew for a fact that that child potentially was not even born … before the police raid," said Hobin, and that the photo itself was taken in 2008, three years after the raid.

Well I saw this in the Daily Mail for a whole week. Then I wondered why it wasn't all over the American web paps and noticed the Sheriffs office said that they didn't know where a lot of that stuff came from but it didn't come from them and may have been fabricated i was like...hmmm..why are they digging up his corpse to piss on it?

So his death anniversary is today I guess. If I didn't have the tabloid vultures to remember this shit for me, I suppose these things would become forgotten.

I guess it wasn't more widespread in the US because his estate would probably sue since the sources are so hinky.

This "new scandal" appeared even in one of the biggest newspapers in Finland. They said police reports now prove Michael Jackson was a monster who had child pornography, sadomasochism and animal torture in his private collection.

I read the police report and every single evidence they had collected was mentioned to not have anything illegal in them, but every time it was added that "this material can be used for grooming children."

So it was all nothing but assumptions by the prosecutors. But now, for some reason, someone has taken all of that out of context and made a new scandal out of it.

This makes me quite angry, to be honest. All of that material was already used as evidence in the court. All of that material was already examined by the jury. There was nothing found that would've made Jackson quilty to any of the charges. Yet still, many many years after Jackson's death, people are still trying to use the same exact material as evidence against him.

They SERIOUSLY thought that was evidence of Michael being a perverted monster who abused children. And if I recall correctly, that book was mentioned as one having animal torture pictures. Yeah, there is a young boy shirtless. Yeah, there is a picture of a head of some dead animal. You can see them in the example pictures on Amazon. Yeah, Michael clearly wants to abuse young boys and torture animals.... sheesh.


I'm 100% positive the magazines that wrote about this aren't going to check the claims and aren't going to write any kind of an article that corrects these new claims. Because hey, Michael was a freak, it's ok to write scandalous baseless articles and "news" about him.

Thank you for everyone adding positively to this thread especially Airola and SCReuter. It is amazing how the first thread about this blew up with so many pages of negative comments about Michael Jackson, until this story it was strongly debunked in the latter pages. But unfortunately, none of those people are big enough to come in here and admit the rush to judgment or personal attacks on those of us saying it was all crap.
