Do any of you use this? If so I was wondering if you've found game performance to be better or worse. At first look it seems like it would run better because the shell uses less resources than explorer. However, I'm hearing otherwise from some people. just curious I suppose.

Aston shell uses 1-5% resources on my comp. Ive heard from tre that it does affect some games tho,

It's not really a big deal. If I remember correctly, Aston Shell includes the ability to quickly switch between it an Explorer. I used to use it all the time when messing around with one or the other (I'm on OS X now though). So if you find the shell is giving you problems with a game, just pop into Explorer before launching the game.

yeah, that is true and I am aware of that. I was just curious as to why I suppose. It uses so much less resources on average.
