Asus Rog Strix / Tuf PSU cable compability?

Does anyone here know if the cables for the Tuf Gaming 1200w PSU is the same / compatible with the Rog Strix platinum 1200w PSU?
Mainly the mobo and CPU cables.
(I'll use the provided 12-pin GPU cable that comes with the new PSU)
Would love to not having to remove the other ones, and since they're quite similar products from the same company, and both are 1200w I would have guessed it would be fine, but can't find any confirmation on the Asus site.

(Replacing my Tuf Gaming 1200w PSU as it makes constant clicking sounds when under some load in games)

Edit: a few more google searches made it pretty clear that cables should always be installed all new for new PSU, even if it's the same brand, so I guess I have to do that.

TBH Corsair is the only brand I'd trust to do this and even then there's enough guidance to know which ones you can swap way ahead of time.

Friend built a PC one time and it would only give black screen when trying to boot for the first time. He brought it to me to fix. I noticed he had installed white braided cable extensions onto the ends of the new PSU cables he had installed. Removed them, reseated ram, removed SSD, clear CMOS, reboot, working fine in bios, shut down reattach SSD installed windows, still running fine. Not sure if the braided cable extensions had anything to do with it(probably not) but I told him to throw them away or return them. Generally I will use the cables that come in the box with the PSU with no addons or extensions. This assists in troubleshooting.

Yeah, i'm not taking any chances and will use the cables that comes with the rog strix platinum psu, although the cable management work sucks.

I can't find any cause to the clicking noises in the tuf psu though. It's almost new, nothing is close to the fans, and it's definitely not anywhere near the 1200w peak!
