A lot of these headlines seem to be emphasizing being lost, and player freedom. The recent gameplay deep dive mentioned an unusual lack of a quest system and a loose network of clues you follow, so maybe that is actually true. Could be a unique way to play if they pull it off. More free form, larger goals without any objectives, potentially.

Seems you can kill anyone in the game as well, or do no death runs somehow.

Having lived in the UK, some parts absolutely look post-apocalyptic (if not worse than what we saw in Fallout, LOL). Most of the UK is a garbage dump now, sadly.

about the no quest thing i think 2 modes would bring in more players one with markers and with no markers from a making cash point of view but oh well.

Edit: this is looking decent enough to be honest. A nice surprise. Denton is 100% right in his post though, the UK is an absolute shithole right now, if we had access to weapons like our American brothers and sisters we would probably look like this in real life

This game came out of nowhere for me and now is very much on my radar. I'll check Steam reviews and if the reception is positive, I'm in.

Oh, it's on GP? Nice! I got a 1-month sub as a Christmas gift, so I'll probably lay it down for this, and then buy it on a Steam sale later; aka the Game Pass effect.
