The shots from Cube where the cube is rotating midgameplay look cool. Really curious what it's gonna be like and if it will be fun solo.
Ill and Atomic Heart look great.

The trailer got me interested in playing the first one. Lo and behold it was on special on Steam. I started playing Atomic Heart and while the art and gameplay are good, what the hell is up with the protagonist? The is supposed to be a WW2 veteran? And that vending machine? Look, I'm all for having sexy things in a video game, but a vending machine trying to fuck me feels a step too far.

I can visibly see the excitement in his face during the video.

It reminds me of when Kamiya first went to Platinum, had a big grin on his face during interviews/promos, and was like 'We're going to make some cool shit'.
This is why they deserve the love. They're in it to proudly make good games and be happy about it. Not the new shit we've been getting

Another good reason to support and give attention to indie and AA. Fresh, excited, and hungry developers looking to bring the fun or bring something different.

They can't make that next step/leap to AAA without the help of gamers. It's also a good way to bring in new pillars in the industry if you're feeling fatigued by our old ones.

But gamers only want AAA games because anything other than that is "yuck"

AA and indie been being their ass with AAA for the past couple of years now. God bless them

If it turns out to be a major downgrade or bullshit, whatever, but for now ILL has me borderline popping a boner.

That segment with the old-ass double shotgun tearing that enemy apart is like RE2R on crack and I almost fainted from how splashy it is. Enemies picking up nearby weapons and shit is a really cool touch too.

While there will always be mainstays at the top seller spots (CoD, GTA, Madden, 2k)...

We have been witnessing the winds shifting below that mark. New I.P. coming out of nowhere and garnering attention. Studios suddenly evolving, ex-employees of big corps finding a second wind, etc.

It's why I get more excited when seeing new I.P. and new ideas at these showcases, moreso than the people who set themselves up for disappointment year after year waiting on a sequel to a 10 year or 20 year old franchise.

That being said, as someone who has missed out on a lot years ago, I don't mind the remakes and remasters either 🤷‍♂️

Looks good!, can't wait!

Never played them but the trailers got me hyped the fuck up so I'm going to try out the first one to prepare.

It seems it has everything

Actual current gen looking game that looks very impressive graphically.

Sexy/eye candy etc.

Very creative design for the setting, monsters, gameplay etc - the most important bit and combined with the first two points and it's a super interesting game overall.

And their horror game ILL looks extremely impressive and cool. Wasn't even aware that it was from the same people that did Atomic and Cube but I can see how all of these games got that next gen quality to it now that I paid more attention.

Sorry I might have worded it wrong, but it isn't the same dev exactly. They are providing support to the ILL devs by using their new program called "MundFish Powerhouse".

Man that studio is just exploding, how the fuck they went from first project like atomic heart to now a sequel that seems to crank everything to 11, a multiplayer game and also supporting another studio for what appears to be one of the most ambitious horror game in a long time?

The gameplay snippets of ILL actually look real this time. Not quite as pristine as the obviously scripted promo material but still damn impressive.
And that cube project looks seriously ambitious. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

I'm so happy for them, they're really on a roll
and cube sounds so interesting, let's see how it will play out
i liked almost everything about atomic heart so i welcome the atomic universe with open arms!

They sold their soul to Satan.

Whatever engine they use, it looks amazing and actually looks like late current gen/next gen similar to that of Witcher 4 and GTA VI.

Even the first Atomic Heart which is a old game looks very good graphic wise combined with it's animation quality. So part 2, ILL, and the Muthafucking CUBE is going to be out of this world!

atomic heart used ue 4
ah 2, cube and ill are using ue 5
they're practically unreal engine wizards
that's the funny part, i've played a lot of generic UE 4 games. few came close to atomic heart, especially in terms of physics, gravity and animations

I swear, ILL is going to be the most replayable horror game ever just because of how different every kill can be. Most anticipated game for me above RE9 and GTA 6. Didn't think that would ever happen as a RE fanboy.

UE wizards? Hopefully these wizards can figure out HDR (something standard in most games since the PS4 Pro). Atomic Heart 1 could have looked amazing, but it didn't without HDR.

The details are unbelievable in the gameplay snippet .. really looking forward to actually having a fun open world which the first game was lacking

ILL Looking like a true generational jump.

Would you fucking look at that.... Focusing on GRAPHICS, PHYSICS and HIT REACTION makes your GAMEPLAY way better. Like i've been screaming from the mountaintops for a decade.

It's no coincidence that the game looks to shit on everything else in the genre. Its because of the visuals and physics. When your visuals, physics and hit reaction are actually next gen, your gameplay shines.

These guys figured it out on their first try. And its no coincidence, they have filmmaking background.

Lesser devs, with zero ambition and lack of skill, would have made a cookie cutter FPS, make it 60fps and call it a day. Crap physics, poor dismemberment, 45 hours long, ugly graphics, skill trees, overly complicated combat system... but hey.. 60fps.
