August 5th=F.E.A.R. single player demo

I just hope it runs better than the MP demo at all. I'm not a framerate whore, but it ran like shit on my HL2/Doom3 capable machine.
 
Goddamn it, I hate being on 56k for the summer. Though if the necessary specs are insanely high (I only have a Radeon 9800, and no, upgrading isn't really an option at this point), it may be moot.
 
The recent 14+ minute video looked interesting, but as I said, they have a lot of work to do in regards to play movement.

Looking forward to trying it, but am worried about performance as this IS a Monolith game.
 
sweet. i was addicted to the multiplayer. although the game ran like shit on my mid-high end system (the one that runs all the other new FPS perfectly).

they really need to work on optimizing this game.

still looking VERY forward to it though. sweet ass gameplay.
 
I'm really looking forward to this but damn I wish they were making another NOLF instead. I wanted to see a bump mapped Kate Archer :D
 
Awesome! I tried out the first round of the F.E.A.R Multiplayer Beta on my old graphics card, and it actually ran on an Nvidia GeForce FX 5200...Really bad quality, but it ran, and smoothly. Now with my new card I'm excited to see what it looks like.

It'll look... better? BTW, what's your current GPU?
 
Wouldn't suprise me. I thought it was interesting (pertaining to textures and poly's) that the Criterion guys put 3,000+ polys on the wheels in Burnout 3. It goes to show that some developers don't realize what their engine is capable of until after the fact.

F.E.A.R. on the other hand is one of those engines that just looks so freaking cool, who knows what the specs on for poly pushing.

Sadly though, They could leave the textures that size on a sewer lid. :( :lol
