If I lend my car to someone, are they covered under my insurance?

(Yes, I'll call my insurance company and find out for sure but I'm just wondering what the general rule for this is.)

Unless they subscribe to your policy, no. If they have auto insurance, then they are covered under their own policy to pay you damages if they wreck.

Thanks guys. One more question. There are two cars and three drivers in my family. I'm insured as a secondary driver for one of the cars. Does this mean I can't drive the other car? Or would my insurance for the one car cover me when I'm driving the other car?
