He said a major reason that he wanted to become a US citizen was to vote in the elections, considering that he lives/works in America with his daughter. And now, apparently he may not have become a citizen in time to vote.
Maybe for the best. Given his lofty perch, he'd probably just vote for Bush! (hah)
