DISC 2 is set up like an interactive comic book (see examples below) with images from what I believe is the official comic book adaptation. When you click on a name or picture and it lights up, you know that you have found one of the features. Simply click on it and watch. There are a few “Easter Eggs” to find and you know you have discovered one as this feature starts with a note saying “Finders Keepers” - just like the note Rachel placed in Bruce’s birthday gift in the film.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

This is a very detailed account of just how the project came to be. It features interviews with director Christopher Nolan, screenwriter David S. Goyer, producer Charles Roven, and star Christian Bale among others. It is the story of how the path of BATMAN BEGINS literally began in Chris Nolan’s garage and then moved to Iceland, the U.K., Chicago, and eventually to the big screen.

The story is an interesting one. Director Christopher Nolan found out that Warner Bros. was interested in reviving the BATMAN movie franchise and quietly hired screenwriter/director David Goyer to pen the first draft. Nolan and Goyer secretly met in Nolan’s garage and began to hammer out the screenplay. Production designer Nathan Crowley joined in and began the creating conceptual designs of the things we ended up seeing in the film - like Gotham City and “The Tumber.”

Overall, I rate this entire Deluxe Edition an A- and proclaim it to be a definite must-have for all Batman fans.

W00t, I have this pre-ordered through Amazon already; getting it for free thanks to an Amazon gift certificate. :) Also picking up Tommy Boy: Holy Schnike Edition.

If there wasn't anything on here but the trailers and the movie I'd still buy this DVD..... but I'm glad theres more(glad they did a Deluxe)...truth be told I am sad there is no commentary this seems like a movie that would have a really interesting commentary track.

Reserved and with a box of wank-tissues at the ready. I think part of me subconsciously purchased my widescreen HD set in anticipation of this DVD.

I must be the only person here who didn't think Batman Begins was all that great. But tehn, I'm a huge fan of Family Man, so perhaps you'll just recognise that I have poor taste in general.

Completly redo the beginning of the movie, so that it's no longer a 20 minute long movie trailer, and this is one of the best movies of the year.

Care to explain that one?
