Batman Special Edition DVD art

Sadly though, those dvd arts do look pretty good. Especially the definitive look of the first one. Too bad everything on the dvd is far from definitive.

Why bother when you know in a year or two they'll release "Batman: Super Deluxe Batmania Edition with 3 minutes of extra footage"

This IS the second Batman DVD release and it took almost eight years for it to be released.

How did the car get on the cover? :lol

The cover of the 1st one is amazing... I've always loved the bat symbol on it's own...

I like how they are pretty much keeping true to the covers and not doing changes or anything...

at second glance I wish they'd remove the title and actors from the 1st cover, though they don't look all that bad on the rest...

i know they were trying to make them all look similar, but they should have kept the font from the originals. Hell, i would have just made the cover to Batman '89 an exact copy of the original poster.

^^ That's what the first DVD release looks like, sans any text.
that's also what the VHS release looks like...

no font and rectangular box with just that bat symbol... one of the best covers ever...

they need to charge $79.99 for the box set . .

then give you a rebate good for $99.99 for including Batman and Robin.

Please let that be the cover art for Begins' DVD. But knowing Warner Bros, it'll use the same font as the ones above and feature Katie Holmes prominently on the cover.

Seeing as they've done their damnedest to let people know BB has NOTHING to do with the original films, I kinda doubt that.

The fake cover art for the new DVDs that was floating around a couple of months back was the best. It was just the Bat-symbol used for each film. Batman had the gold and black logo, Batman Returns had the metal logo with sleet blowing across it, Forever had the Bat-logo with the Riddler's question mark around it, and B&R had the Bat-logo with the Robin symbol on top of it. Very classy looking. The official covers give me pains to look at. The original theatrical poster idea is fine and dandy, but the cheap, "look what I did in five minutes in Photoshop" type font is pathetic. And that border! Ugh.

Batman looks like he's just a side character on the Batman and Robin cover. I mean, he sort of was anyway, but that just sucks.

They should have used the teaser poster art to match the first one better. Those were always awesome designs, despite how terrible the movies may have turned out.

I wonder how much each would sell? $59.99 to $79.99 perhaps?

$79 for the whole set, $26 for each seperately. I'm considering getting the whole set, along with Batman Begins that same day. I just need to have all the Batman movies on dvd...though having Batman & Robin in my collection is nothing to be excited about.

The collector in me just can't buy Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman Begins. The missing movie would bother me. Sad, I know.

I always thought that was interesting how they cropped off the ends of the bat symbol in B'89 and Batman Returns.

That's okay, he was a side character in the original as well.

Sadly if the price is right i would buy this set of batman movies. But thats just to burn a few of them.

The Batman and Robin cover looks funny as fuck. Just look at Chris the retardism starts up there. Carry is just repondin to him. Tommy is just the silent retard who smiles. And then we got batman the kid that thinks he's the cool one but forgot to put his special needs helmet on today. Kidman's the teacher that has to put up with them all.

Lets all get in the retard mobile.

I'll just steal an old DM post for this...

Yes. That's exactly what the fake cover art was using a few months back.
