One of the best series ever, Batman TAS is so great than even after all these years the series still hold up incredibly well sure the animation doesn't compare to the JLU animation but the stories are so well crafted and characters are developed so well that the choppy animation doesn't bother me at all.

Favorite Episodes the series has so many great episodes that this shit is hard but anyway I'll try my best

1)Almost Got 'im- Love it my favorite episode becuase of the stories they tell the Joker story is just hilarious the dialogue between the villians is classic shit.

2)Perchance To Dream- one those episode I couldn't understand when I was I kid, this is one of my favorite basically a psychological study of the Bruce Wayne character awesome stuff.

3)The Last Laugh- Awesome shit, Joker shine is this episode like no other an action packed episode with many memorable scenes Joker owns in the series.

4)Nothing To Fear- Scarecrow first episode and one of the best in the series Batman confronts his worst fears in this episode awesome finale in this one.

5)Christmas With The Joker- Another classic Joker episode, one the funniest in the series simply becuase of his grand evil scheme and his hilarious quotes.

so many great episodes but those are the 5 which I can remember the most.

In summary Batman TAS is one the best series ever and this is coming from a mayor anime fanboy. btw I so love the opening of the series :D so many iconic poses and the music sets the tone for the whole series.

discuss the greatness of this series :)

my favorite eps are like harleys holiday, a perchance to dream, the forgotten, and one which doesn't even star him, and one of the best, Showdown, which is just about Jonah Hex.

Fabulous series indeed, I love see them do BTAS remake few years down the road, expand 20mins into full hour if needed and really give some character and story development.

It's hard coming up with favourite Batman episodes off the top of my head, cause there are so many good ones. The two episodes with that ninja Kyodi are up there for me. Both parts of Robin's Reckoning were simply awesome. Legends of the Dark Knight was a laugh riot. Almost Got Him is an obvious classic. Perchance to Dream is just bad ass. Over the Edge (same type of episode) was also excellent. Shoot, I could literally list half the episodes and still feel like I'm leaving out some of the better ones. Far and away my favourite TV show ever, and I doubt anything tops it.

My love for the series goes without saying. The straight-to-video movies and Mask of the Phantasm easily topping the 1989 series and yeah, even Batman Begins. Why people rag on the newer look I don't fully understand and don't want to. If they discard that season's Mad Love, then they've no right to live in Gotham or read of its royal son.

"The Joker's Favor"

One that stood out (not the best, they all are). When the joker's backing away from this nobody and the J man is trying to talk him out of it, the way he screams Bat's name. ha, classic.

"I threw a ROCK at em!"

Love this show the old and the revised one with the redrawn characters. Favorite episodes? hmm

1. The one where Batman gets Batgirl killed and the Commisioner hunts him down.

2. The episode with the Judge Crime Fighter.

3. The episode where all the kids are giving their fantasies of Batman.

Tons more but those stand out the most for me.

Fantastic series. The Superman TAS aswell. Writing, visuals, voiceacting.. everything... super.

Ah yes...how could I forget Harley Quinn's debut. The continious meatloaf references was pretty funny as well.

Beware of the Gray Ghost is probably my favorite. Adam West voicing Gray Ghost is just so perfect and appropriate. All the stuff with Bruce loving the show as a kid and then getting to work with Gray Ghost and save the day for real, it's just awesome.

My favorite episodes were the ones that featured the Mad Hatter, Ra's Al Ghul, ClayFace, Scarface and the Ventriliquist, and Mr. Freeze. Almost every story featuring these characters was an absolute classic.

Part one of feat of clay was horrible. On all accounts.

Part 2 is one of the most well crafted of TAS ever (animation, music, performace)

Wierd

I still have only volume 1 of the series though i plan to get the rest later on.

Anyway there are so many awesome episodes its hard to tell which ones are my favorite but to name a few i'd say PerChance to Dream, The Joker's Favor, Birds of a feather and Second Chance

I love this show because it wasn't the "Batman as lunatic" shiz. he was balanced, with an actual personality. he hadn't yet lost himself in his act.

Well, they tried to give it a mature feeling and succeeded. He'd never been shown as such on tv before. There's nothing mature about a man that dresses up in a bat's costume, so they added realism by giving him a sort of PTSD. This becomes more and more apparent throughout the Timm/Dini series, the hight of it being JLU's (intended) final episode. It was a pretty grim cartoon for a series that barely had any deaths/bloodshed. But yeah, he's always been a lunatic that uses reason, if that makes any sense.

The World's Finest crossover they did with Superman was brilliant :lol

The whole thing was just a fun ride :lol the story wasn't that interesting overall but watching how everyone interacted with each other more than made up for it.

Yeah, the interaction and initial disdain shown between Bats and Supes was cool stuff. Even better was the catfighting between Harley and Chelsea. :lol

Man, favourite two parter is tough...I liked Two Face a lot, but I'd have to lean towards Robin's Reckoning.

What about Second Chance, where
Two-Face kidnaps Harvey to prevent corrective surgery
.

TWO-FACE: Bruce Wayne picked up the tab for this?
CREST: Yes.
TWO-FACE: Good ol' Bruce, he's never given up on me.
BATMAN WATCHES THROUGH THE SKYLIGHT.
TWO-FACE: Always been my best friend. I remember when we used to close the town at the Half Moon Club. Most fun we ever had. Heard they were tearing the old place down. I guess nothing good lasts forever.

His Silicon Soul was one of my favorites:

BAT-DUPLICANT: Why do you resist? HARDAC's goals are similar to your own!
BATMAN: How do you figure that?
BAT-DUBLICANT: Picture a world completely free of crime, free of suffering, free of frailty.
BATMAN: You mean free of choice? Compassion? Free of humanity?
BAT-DUPLICANT: YES!
THEY CLASH SWORDS. BATMAN TRIPS ON THE EDGE OF THE ABYSS AND REGAINS HIMSELF ON THE ROCK. THE DUPLICANT RAISES HIS SWORD BUT DOES NOT MOVE.
BATMAN: You can't do it. HARDAC built you well.
THE DUPLICANT DROPS HIS SWORD.
BATMAN: Perhaps, even better than he could have imagined.
--
BATMAN: Could it be it had a soul, Alfred? A soul of silicon. . . But a soul, nonetheless.

Hehe, another classic episode. Which reminds me, I gotta finish up Batman: Dark Victory this week...been a fun read.
