There are some precedents of something similar happening. Platinum Games got permission to release The Wonderful 101: Remastered on PS4 and PC.Nintendo own the publishing rights as they funded both games. While sega owns the ip itself, so that means while sega would love for those games to be released on other consoles it would be down to nintendo to publish them or give up the rights to publish them which i can see having a 0% chance of happening.
