Is the average theater experience really much better than watching it at home?

On second thought, that might be true given some will watch it on a phone.

I can't imagine missing something like Fury Road in the theatre. I actually feel bad for anyone whose first experience with it was on a small screen.

This could be different, though. I find, for me, it depends on the movie, though.

Why on Earth would you compare a horrifying story of children forced into service as soldiers to Metal Gear Solid?

Maybe...

My copy of Uzodinma Iweala's Beasts of No Nation: A Novel arrived yesterday.

I'm going to start this afternoon.

Just reading the title made me think of MGSV, and then watching the trailer...wow. Looks great, will watch on Netflix for sure.
On this point, just playing the parts with the child soldiers made me really uncomfortable. This movie is much closer to the real deal, so I imagine my discomfort will be magnified.
