Because Junior Members can't post: Kururin Squash and Freeloader?

Since someone I know cannot yet make topics, I repeat this message verbatim:

Has anyone here tried playing Kururin Squash on an American GameCube with a Freeloader? If so, how well does it work? Has anyone who has played imports with a freeloader encountered any problems and can cite some specific games to shy away from with a freeloader? Thanks.

I will say Freeloader does suck for most JPN games mdm, as we've discussed before. I'd just get it modded but then get a Freeloader for PAL games like Donkey Konga with-the-superior-songlist.

I have Kururin Squash. It plays fine on my US GC via Freeloader(the one that comes with Action Replay). The only problem is the messed up Japanese text. But you can still go through the whole game pretty easily. And the game's progress can be saved.

The game is fun, but a bit too short.

Thanks. Anyone else have any more general freeloader information? I know some of you jerks must have something useful to say about the matter, so out with it!

I've got an AR Freeloader, and my Kururin Squash came in about a week or so ago, but I'm too tired tonight to test it out, sorry.

I can't speak for Kururin Squash, though I will say that I wish someone would have told me that Freeloader can be a bit flaky. I bought a copy of Mr. Driller: Drill Land, and while it can be played with Freeloader, you can't save to the memory card, and thus can't make any progress. VERY dissapointing... and because of this, I can't get anyone to buy the game off of me. Sigh...

How much would you consider selling it for?

I don't understand why more people don't get switches installed. I got ncsx to put one in mine shortly after launch for about $50 after all was said and done. It still works like a charm and I don't ever have to worry about compatablity issues.

ive only ever used it for WE6FE.

never had any problems with it. for 10$, i dont mind using it to swap disks and save me 50$ or whatever on having a switch installed.
