Hi folks. A while back I purchased the Belking Firewire Network cardbus adaptor for my Dell notebook computer. I love the damn thing, but I can't help but notice that there is an input for what looks like an AC Adaptor. The thing doesn't come with an AC Adaptor, and I noticed that my iPod will NOT charge when connected to my computer through this Firewire connection.
It WILL charge when I plug the iPod into my comp's native USB1.1 connector, but it charge and synchs insanely slow. I've scoured Belkin's website, and even tried Google, but haven't had much luck finding an actual AC Adaptor for this card. Any ideas?
PS - If it helps anything, the Firewire card says "12VDC 1A" on it. Is that some kind of voltage indicator? 12 Volts DC, 1 Amphere? Or something. I'm too far removed from my physics classes to remember this crap.
Hahaha, thanks in advance.
