OK... the Brosnan thread reminded me that I should do this. So, how do you rank them?
My votes:
1. Paul McCartney - Live and Let Die
2. Shirley Bassey - Goldfinger
3. Duran Duran - A View to a Kill
4. Carly Simon - Nobody Does it Better (from The Spy Who Loved Me)
5. Tina Turner - Goldeneye
6. A-Ha - The Living Daylights (wonder if people will give me shit for this, but it's a good song)

Garbage's The World is Not Enough and Sheryl Crow's Tomorrow Never Dies are decent, too. Hell, I don't even think Die Another Day is that bad.

I don't know if I can rank them, but here's my favorites:

Tina Turner - GoldenEye
Duran Duran - View To A Kill
McCartney and Wings - Live and Let Die
Shirley Bassey - Goldfinger
Garbage - World is not Enough
Sheryl Crow - Tomorrow Never Dies

This reminds me that I have a soundtrack CD with I believe every Bond song up to and including... either TND or TWINE. It's great.. all on one CD as well.. :) I don't exactly recall where I put it though.. hmm.. :lol

Live and Let Die
A View to a Kill
Die Another Day

Those are the first three that come to mind so...

And what is the deal with all thes underachieving Bond villans these days?

McCartney and "Live and Let Die" is probably the most memorable Bond theme of all time.

Too bad it wasn't a very good Bond IMO.

Other favorites:
-Goldeneye
-The Living Daylights (probably my second favorite Bond theme of all time)
-A View to a Kill
-The Spy of Loved Me
-Goldfinger
-Thunderball

Die Another Day
Say what? I don't hate it as much as a lot of people seem to, but... one of the three best? Come on.

I didn't count OHMSS, because it's all-instrumental... maybe I should have, though.

BorkBork

Worked at a Bond exhibit for a few months with the background themes looping OVER and OVER again. The ones that I still liked after that were:

The Spy who Loved Me
Goldeneye
The Living Daylights
Goldfinger
Live and Let Die
Tomorrow Never Dies

Future Trunks

lemme tell you something son, this guy is SO FARKING HUGE HE'LL FLEX AND DESTROY THE SUN no shit
Goldeneye
Live and Let Die
A View To a Kill
License to Kill
...and, dunno if we're counting it since it wasn't the main theme, but Moby James Bond Theme.

Nobody Does it Better? That's easily the worst Bond theme ever.

Goldeneye
Licence to kill
The living daylights
A View to a Kill
Goldfinger
Moonraker

When you were young and your heart was an open book...
You used to say... Live and Let Live...

...you know you did...

...you know you did...

...you know you diiiiid...

My faves are Live and Let Die (of course!), The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Living Daylights, and The World Is Not Enough. All The Time In The World was cool too.

Is Die Another Day the one that Madonna did? That is easily the worst for me. That was awful!

The GnR cover of Live and Let Die is godly.

The World is Not Enough is awesome, and that's not just because Garbage kicks butt or because Shirley's hot.

As much as I hate On Her Majesty's Secret Service (and I really do--I think it's overrated as all hell), I have to give props to the John Barry soundtrack.

Although "Live and Let Die" is truly a great song, I have to give the nod to (in album form) Guns N' Roses' cover over McCartney's original. HOWEVER, if we count the Super Bowl halftime version that wound up having a more similar feel to GNR's version with heavier guitars...then that'd win out.

1. Shirley Bassie - Goldfinger
2. Paul McCartney- Live and Let Die
3. Tina Turner - Goldeneye

Tough Desicion but the classic is still No. 1
