So my old educational email has long since lapsed and ISP/professional emails aren't really a thing in my country so what are my options here?

ProtonMail is what I already use. It's free though, so obviously doesn't apply... sadly. The whole point here is that is has to be non-disposable so stuff like Protonmail or Zoho won't do.

They have paid options like most other emails. Will it suit your needs if you get a receipt of purchase? Other than that I’m not too sure, sorry

Doubt it but I'll contact Reuters and find out, I guess. If you can use said provider to make a disposable account they seem to not accept the address.

I was banned 2 years ago and don't intend on going back.

The way they use character assassination to push a narrative of intolerance is outstanding. I did indeed victim blame in that second image... but ever so mildly as my main point was regarding cults of personality. However, because I had previously told a victim of abuse they were perhaps not the most appropriate person to deliberate on what punishment abusers deserve I was immediately banned without recourse. No thanks, don't intend on going back there, what's the point of joining a discussion board if the moderation team silences everyone?

That said I really ain't happy about this place in it's current form either. Perfectly illustrates the absurd divide and complete lack of dialogue between ideologies in NA right now. You've successfully splintered into two echo chambers and I guess fuck anyone who's levelheaded... -.-'

Regardless, I need the email to apply for a Reuters thing happening in my country, this has nothing to do with ResetEra. Fuck that hellhole.

Mail.com has hundreds of possible domain names and its free. Websites won't know it's a free email if you use one of the more obscure domains. They require you to log in a least once every 30 days to keep the account going.

For fuck's sake with this shit... What's with this constant need to twist people's words into other meanings? Nobody's defending pedos, the point I was making was that victims are obviously not suited to decide what an abuser's sentence should be, regardless of the crime. Restorative justice is about what the criminal can do to give back to the victim, it's not about sadism (however justified it may seem).

"True justice" isn't about giving criminals what they "deserve", the entire point of the system is to punish criminals BY REHABILITATING them. Office 365 is probably the best bet out there. It's only like $70 a year, and Microsoft gives it out like candy depending upon your employer and their relationship with MS. If your company has a sales rep with MS just ask, they can probably hook you up.

Let's stand back and appreciate the irony here. So... you really think that just because I'm a proponent of rehabilitation I must therefore believe it is an achievable goal in all cases, is that it? And yet I'm the one who gets called out for being naive?
You're completely missing the point... rehabilitation is a goal, not a sentence. Even in a hypothetical make believe scenario where 99.9% of criminal inmates are completely beyond rehabilitation, the 0.1% of inmates that aren't validate the need for such a system, especially since literally nothing was lost on attempting to rehabilitate the 99.9% that failed.

This conversation is completely dead, though... Scandinavian recidivism rates have been consistently lower than elsewhere ever since they reformed their penal system, you really can't argue against the consistency of the results (even visible within Scandinavia itself, with Norway and Denmark who have a higher emphasis on rehabilitation as part of their legislations having significantly lower rates than Sweden and Finland). It clearly produces results. Let's not derail this thread further, though... if you want to talk about this, by all means let's do so, open up a thread and feel free to tag or quote me.
