RULES

  • No guest characters allowed (i.e. Spawn).​
  • List them from 1 to 10. 1 being your most favourite character and 10 being your least favourite.​
  • No more no less than 10 characters in the list.​
  • Characters picked get points from 10 to 1 (1st gets 10pts, 2nd gets 9pts, 3rd gets 8pts, etc).​
  • Points will be added from all elegible posts and a final results will be shared with the top Mortal Kombat characters of all times.​
  • Extra: out of the list, and in the same post, share your thoughts on why those are your favourite characters picked (could be anyhing! Because it was your first character played; you liked their last design; you find his/her story good, he/she's a badass; it looks weird, best fatalities, etc). Also you can give shoutous to characters that didn't make your final list (they won't get points).​
  • Deadline: when MK12 gets officially announced​

Fuck, at first I was going to make the list to be up to 5 characters per post/user. Then I realized that there are so many that making a list up to 10 would be better and that I wouldn't have problems putting my own list of 10. But now I'm struggling lol.
I'm having a hard time deciding between a few making it to the list or getting left out.

I have to make up my mind.

Gonna have to do my favorite top 10 to play and then the ones that are what I think are the best just from an everyone else perspective. Sadly the latter will likely not include any newer characters for various reasons.

Welp, had to let out some I thought would make it to the list but well...

Shao Kahn is just simply the best, he destroyed me in Mortal Kombat III (where I discovered the series) and in MK9, best Boss and character design all around, there's no more 'badadness' than him. Scorpion is just Scorpion, no objections here. Motaro (from MKIII not the later piece of shit with 2 legs) was relentless as the boss guard and the most different character in all the roster. The others are just my other favourites from that time and also got good redesigns and play throughout all the series all around. Kotal Kahn added because I wanted some "new" character to be in the list, and despite not being even a shadow to the true Kahn, Shao Kahn, after a long time he made me like a new added character to the long standing series, which is really hard nowadays.

Btw, who the fuck prefers a sissy web and grenades throwing robot when you have the superior missiles launcher and Iron Man flying motherfucking robot Sektor! (Triborg is gay).

Also, fuck Sub-Zero.

The orignal cast was so iconic. Bruce Lee, Van Dam and Cynthia Rothrock lookalikes, plus 2 cool Ninja’s. And don’t forget the thunder God that looks like he’s out of Big Trouble in Little China aswell as Shang Tsung looking like Lo pan. Goro

The Super Street Fighter 2 cast was also legendary. and MK2-3 were also all good.
Id say the most iconic of the MK charactrs have to be Sub Zero and Scorpion, without them MK wouldn’t be where it is, like Ryu and Ken. My favourite of MK Sub Zero

It kinda change from a game to game for me:

MK2 i was on Liu Kang for the most part. MK9: Mileena mostly, and bit of Noob and Skarlet, MKX: Erron Black 60%, Mileena 40%

Lastly MK11: Kitana and Erron Black mostly, then T-800 and Sindel. Also played also a bit of bunch others.

It's hard to make a list, because it change, Mileena was my favorite female in MK9 and X, but i didn't feel her much in MK11. While never been too much into Kitana but love the character in both design and gameplay in MKX.

I would say Erron Black in my Number one character in MK series since his appearance in MKX, this character is just too cool and speak to me so much, then from 2nd place to 10th place with no exact order there are a bunch of characters that i like but change depends of the game,Kitana Mileena Liu Noob Jade, Johnny , Shang Tsung, Sindel, Skarlet.
