I've tried a bunch, and FCE Ultra has the greatest compatibility from what I've found. It won't work with all of the bad, overdumped, hacked, and homebrew roms, but it is designed to run all of the original games, so long as you have the original games (roms), then FCE Ultra rocks. I use NNNesterJ for the rare occasion where FCE Ultra won't work.
