Thanks in advance.
I don't want to navigate thru loads and loads of chitty sites so give me the best ones. :D

I was on a major nostalgia/abandon kick about 4 years ago... snagged a bunch of stuff I was playing in high school and junior high...

Thanks for the reminder! I'm cruising the site(s) once more, hording stuff I may never play, but would love to keep for posperity. :)

What are everyone's favorite old abandon games?

Dunno if this is my favorite but its the first PC game I ever played... It was really addictive about 20y ago =)

It seems like I'm eternally playing abadonware and forgotten classics. :)

I highly recommend The Underdogs. I've contributed to that site over the years (games, links to underdogs, etc) and the people who run it are a great bunch of guys/gals.

All the old Sierra / Lucasarts adventure games. Space Quest/Kings Quest and Monkey Island/Indiana Jones the best games respectively.

Thanks guys for The underdogs ! It is really what I was searching for.

Now, to the guy who wanted to run old dos games on windows XP SP2, I would suggest DosBox DosBox

Let's see...

D/Generation - great puzzle/action game.

Seven Cities of Gold - I still play this every now and then.

Ultima IV-VI.

Syndicate.

Cliff Johnson's puzzle games - The Fools Errand and 3 in Three. You can still download these from his website (www.fools-errand.com)

Anything by Infocom, esp. Trinity, A Mind Forever Voyaging, The Lurking Horror, and the Enchanter Trilogy. Play some of them here: http://www.xs4all.nl/~pot/infocom/

I've always wanted to try Sundog: Frozen Legacy, but I could never get my ST emulator to work...

...oh, and Lemmings, of course. :D
