I was just looking around at amazon and turns out they’re having a sale of some sorts and there are several HDTV's in my price range. o_O I'll have to stop buying games/dvds for months to feel less guilty but my backlog is already huge... and since next-gen is getting closer I might as well upgrade now..

Any thoughts on any of these 3?

^ this shows up around $750 when added to cart.

for that price its easily the sanyo 30" widescreen HDTV. Its just under $600 and its really a nice unit. Even has built in HD tuner. I bought one and would buy another.

Yeah someone linked to it in that other tv advice thread but it's sold out in walmart.

I found it at overstock but it's over $700, with that price is it still better than the 3 at amazon?

I don't have a car but I'll manage to get to walmart tomorrow. They deliver TVs you buy in-store right? I don't think I can carry that thing back. :p

Just to make sure, those other TVs aren't that much better, or better at all, than the sanyo?

Ok after this I'm making a decision I swear.

The Sanyo is back in stock at walmart's site, so I don't have to worry about delivery.

Now it's sony vs. sanyo and I have no idea what to choose. The sony one has better stereo speakers, the sanyo one 'upcoverts everything to 1080i' which I'm not exactly sure if it's a good or bad thing and a lot of other things I don't know anything about. o_o

So it's either this:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...593-2000768?v=glance&s=electronics&n=11091131

Or this:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/prod...ct_id=2601425&sourceid=0100000012231185702498

Both are within my range (the sony just barely). I just need to know how they compare in terms of quality. Like what does the sony one have that the sanyo doesn't, for example?

You're my only hope GAF.

Edit: sanyo out of stock again. :lol

That's it I'm buying the sony. I'll check out my local circuit city to see other options though must to make sure...
