S5E8 and S5E10 are right up there with some of the best Breaking Bad episodes. The cartel stuff finally fully integrates into the show in season 5 and there's no longer two divergent plots.
I've been liking BCS more than BB for a while now. So I can't wait. Has it dropped on Netflix yet? It takes so long to drop there.

Nothing has been announced yet about S5 on netflix to my knowledge. Surely it will go up before the S6 premiere.

Are those black and white scenes at the beginning of each season supposed to be going somewhere?

They've all seemed completely pointless.

This may be one of the best spin-offs ever. I remember when they announced it and I was like, ugh, running the sacred name of Breaking Bad. Couldn’t have been more wrong.

Truly is brilliant, fleshed out his character to make him from scumbag to sympathetic. So well done.

You should, it’s a fantastic series, no annoying wife in this one unlike BB and lots of tension to be had.

(shrugs) I mean, Marie wasn’t really in enough scenes in BB for me to consider it an effect on its quality.

(smiles and walks away before bitbydeath can clarify)

Seriously though, I get why some might find Skyler annoying, but the fan hate did get out of hand. Honestly with Season 2 and beyond I’d say she was often more in the right compared to Walt. Hell, even when she starts working with Walt, she had a better understanding of money laundering than he did, which makes one wonder if Walt would have fucked that aspect up if she hadn’t been helping him (sure, Saul was also trying to help in that aspect, but Walt wouldn’t always take his advice seriously).

Skylar was annoying when you didn’t realize that Walt was the bad guy. After that, you realize she was right to sniff out that something was amiss all along, which is the ultimate twist of the knife to a married person.

Just announced on their instagram: April 18 is the season premier.

It will be split into two parts like Breaking Bad's final season.

At least they're not too apart unlike 'Breaking Bad'

This sounds weird tough.

Slippin’ Jimmy, a six-part animated series from the world of Better Call Saul, follows the misadventures of a young Jimmy McGill and his childhood friends in Chicago. Told in the style of classic ’70s-era cartoons, each episode is an ode to a specific movie genre — from spaghetti westerns and Buster Keaton to The Exorcist. Premiering on AMC’s digital platforms this spring, the series is produced by Rick and Morty animators Starburns and written by Better Call Saul writers Ariel Levine and Kathleen Williams-Foshee. Voice talent includes Chi McBride, Laraine Newman and Sean Giambrone, among others.

Skyler was annoying because she was a hypocrite. Also a lot of her story was badly written. I feel sorry for Anna Gunn because she took a lot of shit, when it was the writers who were at fault. I've said it before, but when they decided to have her go in with Walt's crimes they really needed to take a good look at how Carmella Soprano was portrayed.

I finished breaking bad and immediately started this.

I just begun season 4.

Jimmy is a piece of shit.
I liked him in BB but he is irredeemable in this one.

Well jimmy is in BB, and this is a prequel, right?

Yes and has flashes past BB showing his wreck of a life to the aftermath when on the run. That's all we've gotten so far, if anything it shows his life is in ruins. His characters fate is still open-ended.

I hope there’s a full episode worth of content on the present day stuff after the prequel stuff wraps up. Or more likely- something is left hanging in the prequel timeline and shows up in the present day timeline…should be fun either way

If I had to guess I'd say the first half resolves his past life and the second part of episodes will be the present day in the show.

Pure speculation but would make sense. Plus seems like something they were aiming for from the beginning.

Fargo Is A Bit More Hokey But Very Good (Really, Just As Good -Usually - Once You Get Into It) If You Enjoyed Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Ozark Ect!!
