I was wondering about a particular plot hole in the Jak & Daxter series, so I thought I'd make a thread out of it.

is actually from the same dystopian future as a young Jak, and is tasked with raising Jak in the past until he can become a hero. However, there's no explanation for why Samos has no idea what the warp gate will do when he previously used it, or not having any idea where it was hidden when he's the one who hid it in the first place.
