For a moment I thought it was the second season of "To the Lake", which has the same theme but the story happening in Russia.

To the Lake was great. Is it a spin off of some other series? The backstory seems needlessly elaborate for how little it impacts the characters and their journey.

And damn that sauna scene I remember when stuff like that was REQUIRED of any adult show! Not the joke that TV-MA has become today.

For me the show was trash with characters I didn't like and cheap/Asylum-ish feeling. I bailed early on in season 1. I should also mention I didn't enjoy Z Nation.
