Huge Bleach fan here, but I need to see reviews and what the community says about it.

Bought Sparking Zero at launch on pure nostalgia and didn't touched the game a single time after doing the tutorial.

Depends. If there is an actual story, yes. If its just a stripped-down fighting game with garbage single player, then no. Now they SAY there is a story but I've seen some bare minimum shit in other games and not falling for that. Example: DBZ spark bullshit.

Eventually when it's cheap enough, I don't think it will have enough game to justify a full priced game. I was willing to pay full price for sparking zero because I'm a dragon ball fanboy.

Probably not. I love bleach but not interested in arena fighters. A bleach game in the style of Way of the Samurai where you create you own shinigami and zanpakto, choose the kido you want and then explore soul society and hueco mundo would be amazing.

Love Bleach but no. I think sparking zero burned me on anime arena fighters. Also the movements look a bit awkward to me. The only anime area fighter I truly loved was the naruto shippuden games by cyberconnect2.

This. Buying a fighting game at launch it's giving away your money. Fighting games drop in price fast and have complete editions soon after. They are never worth at launch (As many other games, for the same reason).

A Bleach game today without all the relevant characters, and without including all the arcs (since the anime is ending, and the manga ended a long time ago), it's not worth my money, in my honest opinion.

When I say relevant characters, I'm saying it's the main cast and the enemies they fought though the series, including also the support cast. The filler characters are not relevant, but for example, the full roster of the espadas, arrancars, captains and lieutenants are.

No crossplay, no ranked and a Soul Crystals system unexplained (looks like p2w but nobody knows, there's only speculation on youtube).

No. These fighting games do nothing for me. More poop coming from the same mold. During the PS2GC era we actually had some super fun anime fighters. DBZ and Naruto were fantastic, and this generic arena shit happened.

As I expected, all reviews are saying there is barely any story content. It's just a pvp game with bleach characters. And Bandai is charging 60 dollars for it.
