Diablo III and Heart of the Swarm seem to be planned for late 2011, at least one of them is bound to get delayed. Also, Titan and the fifth WoW expansion in the same quarter means it is likely Titan will be veeeery different to WoW.

All of the names on the chart were from pre-existing rumors. I find it highly unlikely that Blizzard would even be casually targetting specific quarters almost five years in a advance. It's probably some list made by somebody that spent an hour looking at Blizzard rumor forums, and had at least some historical understanding of how spaced-out Blizzard expansions are, or the timeframe between reveal and release.

If I had to hazard as guess as to what Starcraft Phoenix is, I think it might be a remake of the Starcraft 1 campaign using the SC2 engine. Probably rerecord lines from the new voice actors and release it as a $10 campaign or something.

Not arguing for the veracity of the leak, as it could easily be assembled by an outside party, but it's not beyond the pale for Blizzard to be internally targeting specific quarters, and I imagine that's exactly what they do. If they need to restructure that's one thing, but they damn sure have plans about what's going to come out when.

The only real difference is that they don't announce those until very late in the cycle and are presumably more willing to delay a game for polish.

And why the hell would the movie be targeted that specifically so far in advance, without any director officially attached?
