Someone want to tell me the story of National Treasure? Spoiler tags of course. I just want to know the full story. Next weekend should be a kick in the theater butt.

THERE'S A TREASURE MAP ON THE BACK OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE!

:lol I obviously have to go see "National Treasure" to see what's so great about it.

It's just fucking awesome. I thought it would be shit, honestly. But I was pleasantly surprised at how well the movie turned out to be. Go see it.

I saw National Treasure on Friday and it was pretty good. There are some obvious Indiana Jones-type scenes in it. Diane Kruger looked great in it. Despite some of the absurdities of the background story, I thought it was an interesting concept. Besides, the movie has Sean "The King of Cool" Bean in it. That automatically makes it worth seeing.

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
National Treasure = DaVinci Code - Religion, and in America instead of Europe

Wow. I really liked The DaVinci Code. I guess I'll definately be seeing this movie now. :)

Yup and it'll probably spark the same types of questions when people go on tours in DC, Philly and NY now.

Curious...

Nope, to be expected. Considering how the Christmas season keeps getting closer, the most child oriented Polar Express will end up doing more consistent business than the Incredibles and Spongebob. Damn Christmas.

Not sure I'd regard Polar Express as being as being more child-friendly then The Incredibles. But it is more Christmassy...I reckon that's what helps it.

I don't care either way...got no rooting interest with any of these movies, with the possible exception of Hotel Rwanada (Ocean's 12 is going to clean up regardless, so it needs no boosting from me).

For the record, I watched The Incredibles on Friday...the second full Pixar movie I've ever watched (Toy Story being the other), and the first I had a real desire to watch. I thought it was a lot of fun and would love to see a sequel, though that could be iffy with Disney and Pixar set to part ways. Don't waste your time trying to sell me on their other movies...the themes just do nothing for me.
