There aren't that many game deals I can see. A few of them seem to be the same store to store too.

Maybe I'll try the big department stores, they generally have game sections hidden away on the top floor. I bet you anything though that the entire place will be covered in sales except for the gaming section.

Actually, I was just joking about how my thread was titled as if it would inevitably compete with yours, as well as 'WTLW' and all that. Relax, the both of you.

I already got what I wanted from mine. This thread is a freaking goldmine. Check it out. I've got a page of notes on where I can go and what I should get tomorrow. I'll probably end up bailing on my friends, in fact. They'll just slow me down!

I was eyeing a DVD-RW drive, so that's some extra incentive.

I have a page of notes too, including opening times etc. It's kind of sad, but these are things I was going to buy anyway and if I can get them cheap, I will.

I'm British, it's just my ridiculously dry sense of humour.

Our stores don't really match at all, but I'll have a look at the opening times for you.

For Futureshop the flyer says 7, but at that forum I've sene a lot of people say 6. Zellers is 7, A&B Sound is 7, Staples is 9, and I dunno about Toys R Us, HMV, Roots or Mexx.

Any of those could be wrong though, i'm just going off flyers and that forum, where there could either be mistakes or differences depending on the specific store.

I just got stuff at Sport Chek today... I don't usually buy stuff, but I needed these items, and they had lots of great deals. I bought a Columbia coat that was originally $300, two pairs of addidas shorts, two pairs of (same brand) track pants. All for $250 including tax (no GST) Pretty awesome, and it wasn't crowded that early.

Sport Chek's no GST is only until 10 today BTW if anyone's thinking of taking advantage of it, so hurry.

Ahhhh, back before 9 and lots of stuff bought. Got a pair of Levi's from the Bay, a shirt and hoody zip up thing from...somewhere...and a new pair of shows for the ridiculously low price of $22. That's less than £11. I don't think I could buy kids shoes during the biggest sale of the year in the UK for that much. It was a nice store too, not some cheap place.

In fact, that was the only really busy place. As it was small there was sort of a folk dance going on, everyone twisting and turning in and out of each other, it was fun! Everywhere's getting busy now though, there are big queues outside of a few stores, so I'll leave getting other things until tomorrow or the day after.

Matlock would tell you it is. I ahven't played the game myself, but it looks like a good deal to me.

Of course, you can get it for that price on the EB website too, so it's not really a deal as such.

I got Saving Private Ryan for 11 bucks or so at HMV

And I got a Philly Eagles hat 20% off 35 bucks at Sport Check

Both were things I've been wanting to buy for a while


Going to the comic store boxing wee sale tomorrow

I went to HMV, looking for SPR, but they had sold out. Blah.

Still, got:

Leather office chair - $50 (regular $100)
Two pairs of 501 Jeans - $30 each (regular $80)
Three tops (different types) - 50% off each

In total, came to less than $200. I'm very satisfied.

fuck that shit!!! If found a "Mercury" MP3 player for 79.99 at Future Shop but i've changed my mind & head straight to Wal-Mart. ****, no more players avalaibles. Ive searched in all the stores, there were only over-priced players.

Resumé: its was a bad day for me(and I still need an mp3 player!!!)

Q: Do Future Shop will restock some of their products tommorow???

Can someone (an audiophile) specify whether or not this is any good? $130 for a $300 product is really, really hard to pass up for me.

I already picked up Amped 2 and Fight Night for $50 CDN after taxes and shipping from that other site though. 2 XBox games for only 4 bucks shipping, that's awesome.

A home theatre in a box isn't that great to begin with so a 129 dollar no-name one wouldn't be that much better. If you want to invest in a good home theatre, it'll easily add up; otherwise, just get a cheap logitech 5 speaker system at FS.

I got a cheap HP printer. HP deskjet 5650. It's not that good, but damn does it look stylish (asthetically). It was $49.99 at Futureshop in Downtown Vancouver. Door crasher.
