Canelo with some absolutely strange body language. He looked discouraged. Bud's flurries and counters are beautiful.

Round 11: Crawford
Alvarez: 102
Crawford: 108

Canelo needs a KO.

It goes the distance. Crawford put on a clinic and the final round was no exception.

Round 12: Crawford.

Final Card: Alvarez 111 Crawford: 118

Official prediction:
Terrence Crawford is your NEW undisputed champion by majority decision.

A two round difference on TWO of those cards? What the hell were those judges watching?!

Anyway, congratulations to Terrence Crawford, this was the work of a master. :messenger_clapping::messenger_clapping::messenger_clapping:🥂

If Bud decides to fight, who is going to beat him? If he goes back to welterweight and just farm wins there, he can be 51-0 (sorry, Welterweight division but that division is a joke)

Once Crawford got comfortable and loosened up, it was over. Fight was not as close as the judges scorecards would make you think.

Either way, pretty cool this fight even happened. In boxing, we rarely get the fights we want at the right time in both fighters careers. If Dana White is committed to actually changing the sport of boxing, this was a great starting point.

Yeah, Canelo was absolutely bullied for most of that fight. This was a fun night of boxing, definitely worth a watch all around.

While Crawford dominated in many of the rounds he won, those are still 10-9 rounds without a knockdown. I had it like the last two judges, with the difference being the last round. I thought we were getting a draw after the 11th. Those last 20 seconds sealed the deal for Bud.

edit: for clarity

Mbilli's greatest strength is also what holds him back. He cannot be stopped from leaning on you and coming forward and punching but it seems to be the only thing he does. I watched his bout with Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Sergiy broke his hand half way through the fight and Mbilli made no adjustments. A one armed fighter went the distance with him because, like Kellerman said, his power can not be maximized hunched over and leaning at extremely close range. I am sure his corner have forgotten more boxing than I know so why can they not get these, seemingly obvious, things across to him? He would be an even better fighter if he changed tactics once he pushes his opponent to the ropes.

Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Some just seem incapable of staying focused when they get that hit of adrenaline. Still though, it was a hell of a fight.

I always thought Ricky Hatton was one of boxing's biggest overachievers relative to his overall talent.

Rest in Peace, and we will always remember, there's only one Ricky Hatton.

Bit off-topic lads but I watched the 'Hatton' documentary last night and knowing what Richard was going through mentally and the recent outcome made it hit so much harder.
Only 46 years old… such a heartbreaking loss. Rest in peace Ricky, truly a talent gone too soon...

Fuck depression, it truly is the worst disease of the 21 century
