The whole Gus segment was chilling

What did Jesse say about them being on the same page now? I couldn't hear what he said.

I got "If we can't kill him we'll make him wish he was dead"

Gale becomes the mythical "Heisenberg"?

Yeah, this seems logical. Not sure how much it will matter in the long run with the stuff still coming on the market, though.

Jesse smartening up it seems. But the preview makes me question how long it lasts.

that episode was pretty great. The whole Gus scene was some of the most tense television ever. Jesus christ they know how to build that shit

Great episode...I'm still not sure why Gus killed the dude though? Is it because he is a mediocre cook, or is he just trying to mind fuck Walt and Jessie?

Wow.

GUS = cold blooded

Just watching to rerun right now, and you see a different side of him at the start of the show.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Excellent premiere. So good to have the show back.

I was annoyed by the "the following segment contains intense violence" warning. I pretty much instantly knew what was going to happen in the lab thanks to that.

Walt and Jesse wearing the same clothes was gold. And I forgot how great the music on this show is.

my thought was because he was seen at the apartment

That plus he screwed up and let people see him at the crime scene.

Really? I thought I had the reverse sentiment.
"If he can't kill us he'll make us wish we were dead"

He is a suspicious person who showed up at the crime scene, the people there will surely tell the police about him and give a description.

Well, he also really does need a real chemist. Stuff happens, what will do then.

Also, he was spotted at the crime scene. He can't afford to have him around, anymore. He was dead, either way, IMO.

This was so awesome! :) I'm so happy to have the show back.

Things i really liked;

- Loved the opening.
It makes you feel even worse about Gale. Considering he's the one that built the lab, he was excited about the job, and he was impressed with Walt's formula.
- Victor opening up.
Last season he was seen as the silent type who didn't pay attention. Not so. I loved the reveal when he started making the batch himself.
- Gus. He's amazing. Probably one of the best 'villains' on T.V. The actor who plays him is fantastic.

That actually makes more sense seeing as it ended with Gus making an example of Victor

Man, I cringed at that scene. You all know the one.
That happened and then I just kept repeating the words "Holy fuck, holy fuck, holy fuck" over and over again.

Gus is scary as fuck. I knew he was going to do something, but man, I had no idea it was going to be that. Also just the tension was off the charts. I felt like he was going to kill me from all his silence in that scene.

Man, I was thinking it was an average/slow start and then we hit the midpoint. Holy shit this season will be good like the others.

And their experience with the acid "trust us" line made me laugh.

“Are you sure it will do the job?”
“Trust us.”

Also, what's up with this from the Onion A|V Club review?
Anna Gunn’s altered face is a bit weird when she smiles. There’s the slightest bit of Jokerface there. I imagine I’ll get used to it, but it’s a little jarring after a year of hiatus. I wish TV producers could put clauses in contracts forbidding plastic surgery, the way athletes are not supposed to do any extreme sports in the offseason.
She had some work done in the off season?

Good episode.

It was nice to see that Jesse really iced Carroll, I was worried if would be a fake-out. I'm hoping that Jesse becomes a heartless killer instead of being all emotional over it.

It'll be interesting to see where they take it from here. Looks like Carroll's notebook might cause some problems for Walt.

anyone else think Mike is totally going to eventually help Walt/Jesse take down Gus? His reaction of genuine shock on his face to the way Gus handled Victor was almost one of self-reflection. "Is this how I will end up?"
