Yeah, it's like the only channel that looks crappy on FIOS. If it happens on DirectTV too I guess thats just how AMC broadcasts it. Shame because Breaking Bad has some of the best cinematography on TV.

I think he wants to quit because of how close they all came to a full-on shit storm. Saul had been spooked out of his mind so he now must realize how dangerous a game it is with Walt involved.

The important question is: did this scene feature in that bullshit 'leaked script' that came out? The scene is clearly from the premiere, so if it didn't, we can finally write that off as the nonsense it seemed to be

Walt stands a very good chance of taking his usual hubris to a dangerous degree. He's probably high on his "victory" over Gus, and now thinks he's invincible. Can't want to see what happens once he's got to go up against someone who really knows what they're doing, like Madrigal.
I have FIOS and AMC HD is absolutely awful but Id like to hear from someone who doesn't have FIOS
I have it on Time Warner...we all know they compress the hell out of their feeds but I haven't noticed many (if any) artifacts.

He risked his family at the end of season 4 to protect Hank, it would be very contrived if they created a situation where he felt it was worthwhile killing him. I can 100% see Jesse dying though.
You can't foresee a situation where Hank gets close enough to the truth where Walt might feel compelled to kill him?

If Hank figures out who Walt is and confronts him with it before alerting the DEA or cops - I could easily see Hank being killed by Walt.

I can completely see this happening, but I don't think it makes sense for Walt.
Walt would kill Hank, but not Jesse. Jesse and Walt have an abusive relationship where Walt NEEDS Jesse, and needs him so badly he will do anything to keep him around, including killing his self esteem, manipulating who he sees and hangs out with, putting down his ideas, and asserting a dominance between them. Walt would beat the shit out Jesse but he knows he has him wrapped around his finger, and as long as he does, he doesn't care. And if he doesn't, he will beat the shit out of him some more to remind Jesse that he's worthless and that he is the only one who loves him.
Walt doesn't give a FUCK in particular about Hank. He used to fucking hate Hank when Walt was going to die and Hank was stepping up for Walter Jr. He cares about his image to family. He knew that if he didn't kill Gus, his WHOLE family would've been dead sooner or later, not just Hank. Who gives a fuck about Hank other than every viewer? Definitely not Walt.
Having said that, I think Hank will find out and be ashamed he never put it all together and won't be able to turn Walt in to the DEA out of embarrassment. I think Hank will die. And I think when Hank dies, that will mark the end for Walt. I think Walt will either succumb to his cancer but more likely, is killed by Jesse, after being vilified this season. Jesse needs to come out of this strong. He is the main character now.

Walt has a huge ego. I remember that scene when Hank was talking about Gale's death and he was ready to think that Heisenburg was finally dead and Walt had to interject his idea that it was someone else which got Hank onto Gus.
Walt's ego is going get him in more trouble.

When he was going to flee at the end of episode 11, he forced Saul to ring the DEA to tip off about the threat to Hank's life. He almost certainly saved his life.

This was before Walt died in the Crawl Space, though. That Walt may very well be gone.
This is the Walt that blatantly lied to and manipulated Jesse in End Times, to the point where he orchestrated everything from leaving the gun on the chair for him to pick up and then his bravura performance of "figuring out" Gus' final piece of the puzzle.
Quick question, was the Spanish in "Salud" originally subtitled or did they just run with it? There are no subtitles on my Blu Ray. I haven't watched "Hermanos" yet, but same question.
