Season 4 was amazing, the only thing I didn't like was the final shot of Gus. A little to unrealistic for me. Also, the music played such an important role that season and I hope they continue that in 5.

yeah it was a little over the top but it's a tricky situation because the death of a main character should have an impact and i guess they wanted to really go all out with the visual impact. i would have been fine without him going all two-face but no big deal in the end!

Yeah, it was unrealistic, but it did have me and my wife going WTF for a second and both of us being pissed before the camera turned. I think they did a pretty good job of getting you to feel whatever emotion you were going to have for him one last time before going for the money shot, so I did really like that scene.

Hyped for season 5. Little upset it will take over a year to find out what happens, but glad they decided to end it.

I think what really pushed the final Gus shot over the edge for me was him fixing his tie. I know it can be argued that it was muscle memory, but combined with the two-face aesthetic, it didn't seem like it fit on the show. I did like how they tried to trick you into thinking he was still alive, but I'm sure they could have done that in a more believable way.

With that said, when I'm complaining about a single shot being the only thing that bothered me all season long, that's pretty damn impressive.

I got breaking bad/mad men/killing all through itunes. It is the most reliable for me and I tend to watch it on my commute on the metra. So thats where I get my AMC shows.

Marathon'd Season 4 over the weekend. Watching seasons all in one go on Blu Ray is the way to go. It was goddamned amazing.

Gus's death = amazing

Last shot of the flower = ima scared

Damn the writing and acting in this show is so amazing.

The first season thread had less than 300 posts. I thought for a while we might need an interim thread before S5, but it looks like we'll probably avoid that now.

So I was watching the AfterBuzz special about the season 4 finale and someone pointed out something I wanted to discuss, spoilers just in case or whatever
so right before TIO gets blown up, they show a picture of him and three kids, two of which are obviously the twins. One of the people talking to Vince Gillian said that think the other kid in the picture is a member of the family we had not seen yet and they will be there next season. Vince didn't say anything or correct them but I was under the impression that the other kid was just Tuco...thoughts?

Yeah, I got rid of cable recently so I'll be going the Amazon Instant route as well. It'll suck waiting until the next day to watch the episodes, and I'll have to avoid this thread, but I'll live.

Based on previous seasons on Amazon, it is $1.99 per episode or about $20 for the whole season. Not sure how it will go given the split season coming up. As to availability, not sure, but based on other shows (i.e. mad men), new episodes become available the next day after airing. I have not used itunes for tv.

So when did the AMC late night marathon start? I just saw the commercial while watching Shawshank. I'm trying to figure out what episode they are on from the description but no luck.

I've been re-watching 24 recently, and both Hank (as a General) and Tuco (as a thug) are in Season 2. Awesome.
