Britney Spears' first baby turns one year old on Thursday
Singer Britney Spears has given birth to a second baby boy, according to US media reports.
The 24-year-old pop star was reported to have given birth on Tuesday morning at a hospital in the Los Angeles area.
No official confirmation of the birth was immediately available. People Magazine reported that the baby was delivered by Caesarean section.
Britney Spears and her husband Kevin Federline, 28, already have a first child, Sean Preston, born last year.
The baby will turn one year old on Thursday.
Ms Spears achieved global success with her 1999 album "Baby One More Time".
The album sold 60 million copies and was followed by the 2000 single "Oops!...I Did It Again" which sold 1.3 million copies in its first week in the US.
An image of Ms Spears posing nude and six months pregnant for a magazine created controversy in August when Tokyo's subway system initially decided the picture was too "stimulating" for commuters.
They later reversed their decision.
