Even if The Rock came back to the WWE full-time, that wouldn't really help any. When they cannibalized WCW/ECW's roster of wrestlers, that's the moment they took a dive. Before that, WWE was a The Rock laying the smackdown, Steve Austin fueding with Vince, Gangrel drinking fake blood, DX running a muck all over the place, Mankind getting put through tables, the Godfather bringing his hos out to the ring, the Undertaker converting other wrestlers into acolytes, and Rikishi giving people the stink-face.
Fast forward to present date and now all the WCW/ECW riffraff were let in. And now there's two WWE championship belts. Utter bs! I don't want to SEE Eric Bishoff, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and I sure as hell don't want to see the Dudley Boys. If I wanted to see those guys, I would have watched WCW and ECW. Some where out there someone in charge came up with the idea that "Hey! If we combine WCW and ECW's roster with WWE's, we'll have the ultimate show because fans of all three will only be able to watch one show!" -- BUT in reality the idea didn't come out so well.
TOO many damn wrestlers and not enough interesting storylines. You know how you can have a box of chocolates and not like all of the chocolates in the box? Well, that's what WWE is to me now. I used to be able to watch it back in days in described above and I would be able to sit down and watch the whole show because I liked all the wrestlers who were fighting; but these days I find myself changing the channel back and forth because half of the time theres some WCW/ECW riffraff in the ring beating the hell outta each other and I don't give a damn who wins!
ANOTHER thing I don't like is how they can take a persona like the Undertaker and totally assassinate his character by turning him into the "American Badass". I mean, he goes from being Undead to some grease ball on a motorcyle. NOW, if you noticed, the fucktards they have doing the writing for the storylines, realized that they fans didn't like the 'new' undertaker and decided they should change his character more back to it's roots, BUT it's too late cuz the damage has been done. Assclowns!
They took a great show and ruined it. When the ratings drop lower and lower, and they find themselves unable to get Hogan back in the ring to bail them out because he's going the way of Arnie and Jessie, and getting into politics, I'll be happy. Then when the show finally gets cancelled, maybe they'll put something on worth watching like Married with Children re-runs.
