i have a working psp for myself, but my 1st bought psp is/was always faulty, it has a non working start button, cant turn the volume down from the unit (you can turn it down on the remote though), and you cant change the brightness lower. my question is, i had a look on ebay for any broken PSP auctions but couldnt find any but what are some opinions on how much i could get for this unit? it works fine as in plays games apart from those problems, has no dead pixels screen is in perfect working order has the old firmware ect.. i wouldnt mind selling for cheap but im curious to the value of it

thanks in advance

It's obviously a problem with the PCB used for that row of buttons, as all of the broken buttons share the same board. Perhaps you can replace that?

well since ive replaced my unit im not really looking to get it repaired, just selling it off for whatever i can get. probably buy some games with the money i get

Well you didn't look hard enough.

The user is selling her broken PSP which is in similar condition as yours for $150. That's a pretty good price if you ask me.

Separate parts of a PSP are quite expensive as of now like the LCD screen is $120 retail so their are alot of people interested in a broken one as well.

Uh... that linked to broken glass skins for the PSP... not quite the same as broken PSP.
