Bubble Booble & Space Invaders for DS, US releases confirmed!

Hmm, forgot about the PSP Bust-a-Move, it would be nice if they brought that over, I need a new portable version as the NGPC version is all I have now. Looking forward to BB though, If they get it right I'll pick it up for sure.

I'd like to hear more announcements about non-puzzle type games for the system. I appreciate the PDA type controls, and it seems like there walking the PDA game path pretty deeply. I love Bust A Move and the like, it's just hard to get excited about these sort of news items. I guess it's just a matter of timing, I don't mean it as a troll.

These should be combined into one game or sold at $20 each.
Well, Bubble Bobble Old&New released on GBA for only $15... who knows. They're going to be total remakes with new content though, so they might be full priced.

Hope BBR comes with Rainbow Islands, and Bubble Symphony.(which I really, really want to play)
I'd actually prefer Bubble Symphony and Bubble Memories on a single card. Symphony only ever got a JP Saturn release (and a finished but unreleased PS1 port) and Memories never came home in any form. :/

Damn, I never even knew Memories existed. I'd like that too.

I just let my coworkers know, and the youngest one goes "what's bubble bobble?"

:rolleyes kids these days... I think I'd rather have Galaga than Space Invaders, but that's a Namco game :D

Rising Star is the publisher behind the localised versions of both games, whose aim is to bring unsung and doubtful-to-be-translated Japanese gems over to North America for further appreciation.

What concerns me is Rising Star is also in charge of the PAL publication of the Harvest Moon games. If Rising Star also does North America, then where does Natsume fall into the picture?

Hmm, seems Rising Star is the new western branch of Marvelous Interactive (I didn't know that anyway)... it's entirely possible that they might kick Natsume to the curb and start selfpublishing Harvest Moon and River King over here. :/

bubble bobble revolution officially displaces castlevania as the most promising ds game. had this already been announced for japanese release? i don't remember hearing about it. i hope they don't use bubble bobble new's art style.

I loves me some Bubble Bobble, but I just bought the GBA version. >_< I wonder if it will have anything new.

seems like every puzzle game under the sun is getting a DS release except puzzle fighter. Pisses me the fuck off.

You should be grateful, honestly.
Now where's Panel de Pon though?

That's F3, and for what it's worth Memories is the far better game. Large bubbles for life!

F3? Frantic Frustrated Female?

I'm very excited about both these games, but I hope they're either cheap or have some new shit to make them worth $30.
