Finished the demo's three levels, took my sweet time and explored.
Great platforming and the controls are super solid. Up there with Mario 3D games, but the pounce and flying/floating mechanics make it completely different. 3D Sonic games could only dream of controlling this well.
Story is nothing serious or high-minded, you find the NPC gang around the level offering small lighthearted conversation pies.

Had no expectations.. but going by the demo this seems like a GREAT 3d platformer

The moveset is way ahead of almost any non Nintendo platformer

Seriously great mechanics and gameplay feel as well as a clear cartoony art style and good music

I see a lot of Mario 3D World inspiration in this game and I love the 90s music/visual design motif. I'd download the demo if it were on Switch 2 or PS5.

The game would most likely get buried regardless of BF6. It's odd to mention BF to do that for a game that isn't even in the same space of competition. Bubsy is a kid's game.

Anyway, the only Bubsy I played as a kid was this one.

It's the three first levels only and you don't get to fight the main enemy sheep, only the enslaved woolies.
