are in a big trouble
EDIT Not finished lol I hit enter by mistake
I noticed there wasn't any thread for this so here we go. I think us PC builder should give those looking to start a helping hand.
Let's talk about rules
1. No bashing anyone's decision on brand. That doesn't mean you can't give an opinion
2. Try to help as best you can if you can't tag someone who you think will. We all know problems can happen.
3. Eh haven't thought of one yet
Advice
1. Know you're budget
This is extremely important.
When you're building a PC it's best to make a budget in advance. Set the budget around what you want as in do you want to be just gaming or rendering gaming and more.
Do you want the best of the best gaming playing games on Ultra with high FPS etc.
Do you want 1080P gaming or 2K or even 4K.
Another thing to think about is how long do want it to last before you may build one again.
Factor in all these before making the budget.
2. Don't rush
One of the worst mistakes I made with my first build was rushing it. What I mean by this is getting around 1000 and running out and buying ok parts. If I waited and saved a small bit more I could have had a far better system that lasted me longer. Take your time if you need to wait one or two more months just get to get 200 more than do. I wanted high-end gaming but bought a mid-range system through lack of research and again rushing because I wanted it now
3. Research
YouTube is your friend. Every part you want or are thinking about has a review on YouTube.
There's also so many how to build PC videos you're spoilt for choice.
Make sure you research every part you've decided on before you make your purchase.
Make a list of the pros and cons to ensure you get what you want. You don't want to buy what you may think is an expensive card expecting 4K on Ultra at 120FPS and getting nowhere near it this is why research is key.
Also asking here will help, you may find someone here with everything you need to know about a part for your new system.

CPUs
Choice
Intel Series
Core i3 (Low end)
Core i5 (Mid to high . Good for gaming and ok for rendering)
Core i7(Perfect from both rendering and gaming )
AMD Series
Ryzen 3 (low end)
Ryzen 5 (mid-range to high end good for gaming and rendering and cheap)
Ryzen 7 (Perfect from both rendering and gaming)
Both Intel and AMD are amazing but at the moment AMD offers more of everything for less the money and I'm saying this as an Intel owner as of today 14/05/19.
GRAPHICS CARDS
Nvidia Series
The line is very easy to learn. It goes from
50
50ti
60
60ti
70
70ti
80
80ti
Obviously, the 80ti being the top. As an example the 1080ti is the high-end of the series and after that came the 2080ti and assuming after that it would be the 3080ti. All cards are considerably good however keep in mind what games you want to play. If you want GTA V ultra settings high FPS then realistically you wouldn't buy a 2050. Again this is where youtube comes in handy. You could youtube the card you want to buy playing the game you're interested in.
AMD Series
RX 540X
RX 550X
RX 560X
RX 570X
RX 580X
Again very similar to Nvidia the 80 being the top.
