This is a remake of an older Japanese movie on which the American movie Speed is based. So this isn't a copy of Speed, in fact Speed is the copy. However since Americans have scarcely any idea what trains are and no one rides them, they changed Speed to be about a bus

damnit I thought this was a sequel to Bullet Train, which I would have been so stoked for. Bullet Train is a great movie.
