Vampire Rain looks hot! Does it say anything about a release date?

I thought a couple of those BW shots looked very impressive, reminded me right away of 'Underworld' with the mood & lighting. Then I saw the ugly screens below, and I agree it's very confusing. I also think that shot of the witch above the police car could be real time.

VR looks interesting also. I got more of a 'Blade' vibe from that one.

Did you check the ingame screenshots? They are very small but what I can see, it looks like complete crap.

Those looks like the typical Japanese cash-ins, quick/bad but not exactly cheap developments ordered by MS to have something "Japanese" Déjà Vu anyone?

Still, I find this picture just lovely

It sort of reminds me 90's terror trash classics like Highway to Hell, which is good on my book.

Small Cry On scan, this is not animation but computer generated, they're using some new cel-shading engine. Don't know if it's realtime or not, game won't be out till mid-late 2007 so I guess not.
edit: I meant this is not classic handdrawn animation, they plan on making game look like this.
