Just thought I'd let you guys know.

"Electronic Arts has revealed that Burnout Revenge for the Xbox 360 will crash onto retail shelves for the nationwide on March 7, 2006. Until then, gamers can visit their favorite video game retailer (including Best Buy, GameStop, WalMart, Target, GameCrazy, Circuit City and Best Buy) for a free Burnout Revenge download – including an exclusive Xbox 360 car, dashboard theme and gamer pic. Gamers simply need to bring their memory card to the retailer, insert their memory card in the Xbox 360 kiosk, go to the Burnout Revenge blade and click the button to download their car, theme and pic."

Full article at site but not much other new info. However, there are screenshots of that Xbox 360 exclusive racer.

This better be made available on Xbox Live or I'm going to be pissed. If it becomes a trend to try to force people to buy memory cards for extras...I'm going to be something far more than pissed.

This is another way to deliver content. Just don't buy a memcard.

Not impressed with the 360 port. I think I'll buy this game on PS2.

You should. It has better sparks, even better than the so called 'next-gen' version

Car, theme and pic ?

That's retarded, how about rewarding us with a demo instead and using more time to do this bitch up right.
It sucks they are taking the lazy way out with one of the best if not the best racing game series ever made.

Takedown is a better game.

I didn't buy BO4, I decided to wait, but did play the Xbox demo, and from what I played of both (I owned BO3) I also agree BO3 >> BO4.

Reminds me a bit of the SSX series, they fixed or improved almost everything with more freedom to boot, but somehow lost it's magic. BO4 had too many paths to the point of it being a pain in the ass.

has there been any confirmation of a downloadable demo being made available for this version of the game?

no confirmation, but EA has been very good to the marketplace so far... i'd imagine there will be one. not sure if it will be pre-release though (heres hoping)

It's really cool that MS offers this download service at the kiosks. Now lets just hope that people who use it don't break it (like they used to do with the N64 analog sticks).

im gonna stick my dong in the slot lol.

Sweet. I've got a memory card so i'm getting this download ASAP. :D I was really hoping for a downloadable playable demo, ala Fight Night. I would pee my pants with joy if it happened.

This game cannot come out soon enough for me. I have been waiting for a high def Burnout game for a long time.

Maybe USB keys will work as well?

The kiosks are locked up so you don't have access to the USB ports. Memory card only.

I am sure you will be able to get it from the marketplace for free.

Not likely. This is an incentive for retailers, with the intent to get customers in the store. If you offer it on marketplace, then no one goes to the store. If it is on the marketplace, I'm guessing it will be heavily delayed or it will cost points.

I'm assuming that there will be a demo for the games, as well as the downloads. Of course, the demo won't fit on a memory card, so we should definitely see that on marketplace unless OXM picks it up for a time exclusive.

Oh noes! Where is your proof of this claim? I was expecting them to get the sparks right for the almighty 360 version. The Xbox version always was lacking in this area when compared to the wonderful PS2 version.
