What did you guys do? Advantages/disadvantages of each? And yes, I know it depends on your own unique situation.

Well, this may be a bit blunt, but the only advantage I see to leasing, is driving a new car every couple years with lower monthly payments...

The disadvantages to leasing are too numerous to list..

Hmm...that's what I thought.
Some people are telling me to lease...I just don't see the advantages in it...

Ask an accountant who has your complete financial profile.

We were looking at leasing but our accountant advised against it for our particular situation. We get our new Ford Focus next Saturday. Woot!

Pay a bunch of money, be required to have the most insurance on your car possible, worry about your milage for two years, then at the end of it own absolutely nothing for all the money you paid. I mean seriously, why ISN'T everyone jumping on this bandwagon?

There is also the other side of the coin...the person who buys a brand new vehicle with a 5 year loan then trades the car in after 3 years. For those people, leasing is right approach...
