Buying games online is getting annoying

Ok so i might be in the minority here. Yes the ability to buy games for lower prices with free shipping is awsome. But lately i've been trying to buy games with their respective guides (were collectors) to get 20% off. But usually the guides come out before the games. As i usually am a nice guy i try and get my girl overnight shipping. What do you know they try to stiff you by making both items their own order. Which means no 20% off and on top of it they want you to pay twice (2x) the amount for shipping. Both EB, Gamestop, and a few other game stores do this.

I know this is a small complaint, but even talking with a csr (Customer Service Represenative) they cant alter orders or make special orders. Are they trying to fuck me over? YES, am i gonna let them? I guess i have too. But fuck this sucks. But i do love sending gifts. They are going to ruin a surprize by sending the guide out first and not by packaging it with the game. Which is why i made this thread.

Anyone fed up with stupid crap like this or have other horror or annoying stories to tell about online video game purchasing?

Living overseas sucks if you want US games. I have a US PS2 in Japan. I can go to Akihabara in Tokyo and buy new imported games for upwards of 80 dollars, or I can Amazon. Amazon will not ship games overseas. Some of their distributors will, though. Some of them won't. I've gotten all the way through checkout thinking a distributor will ship and Amazon cock-blocks it. I have to mail it to my parents, then they have to mail it to me. Lame.

Just wanted to ask this. Does anyone know if you can get money back cause a product was not shipped out next day? Cause this is some bullshit. There is no way one item will get to its destination in one day cause it'll be a freaking saturday. FUCKERS jipping me out of 9.99 for freaking shipping.

Or maybe you can use other online stores that don't have ridiculous shipping policies? Always works for me. I use videogamesplus.ca, for its dirt-cheap shipping and great customer service. With the pitiful state of the US dollar, it might be beneficial to find a US exporter, but I've always found the postage costs a lot higher...
