Test in the morning, and I'm trying to go through stuff I don't know how to do.
I'm running into problems with a section of the chapter that I can't really figure out at all, so I'll post some of the problems here in hopes someone can lend a hand.
1)
Find the parametric equations and symmetric equations for the line passing through (1, -1, 1) and parallel to the line x + 2 = (1/2)y = z - 3
2)
Is the line through (-4, -6, 1) and (-2, 0, -3) parallel to the line through (10, 18, 4) and (5, 3, 14)?
3)
Find symmetric equations for the line that passes through the point (0, 2, -1) and is parallel to the line with parametric equations x = 1 + 2t, y = 3t, z = 5 - 7t
I've tried different things with each of them, but I don't really have any idea what's going on.
