My sister got cingular wireless picture cell phone for christmas. She sent me few funny pictures. Can I reciperate that and send few pics I find on net to her? I tried as attachment to email and just copy and paste method as well in email and no luck so far she claims. Thanks

Guess I didnt explain right. It would be just pc to one cell phone. I dont have any fancy cell phone just pcs, its my sister with picture phone. The way you worded it anyway though I just going to presume its not possible to do pc to picture phone transfer so it answered it regardless. thanks for info!

Its possible if her phone has email software. And if I got it right she send those pics to you via email from her phone? Ask if your sister has her incoming mail server correctly configured. Cingular website probably has those settings if her phone doesnt have them.

her phone has to have a media package for 1 and for 2, you cant send a huge ass pic. you have to scale em down pretty much to send TO a cell phone.

yeah, some more "primitive" phones have limitations for the attachment size, for example it could be that no bigger than 100kb files can be received.

I tried with my sprint phone before. I couldn't email a pic but I could send myself a text message and have a url for the pic in the message. I think you can only recieve pics from phones on the same carrier. It was a site that you could send pics to from 1 carrier and it would forward it to another phone on another carrier, but I forgot the address.

and some carriers disable sending pics via email since they want you to send pics with MMS -messaging only. Those greedy bastards... =)
