Can someone explain this (XBox 360 @ E3)?

I just came back from E3...cool show and all, but can someone explain this pic I took (I think it's been explained before):

DSC01984.jpg

This was from one of the XBox 360 Call of Duty 'kiosks'...notice the 360 controller on the top, and if you can look inside the grill, you'll notice Powermac G5 towers...kinda funny seeing these all over Microsoft's booth...I think these (along with another tower PC inside these kiosks) were running the 360 games as 'dev kits', not the actual 360 system that was displayed in the kiosk.

I don't think many people noticed the Powermac G5 towers at the 360 display since people just seemed just to be 'at awe' of the 360 system itself.

(Mods, hope this is an ok pic to post...)

This happens every yr when hardware is first playable, they don't have final devkits and most games are running off devkits, you do know what a devkit is ...right???

:lol Dude everyone knows that the games running at E3 are on Alpha kits, not even beta kits, which are the actually developmental kits used to make games. Thanks for the no news.

Kinda reminds of the Unreal Tournament on Playstation 2 gig from way before launch. Only difference being no fist fights and flamewars breaking out between Sega and Sony douches. :(
