Can we talk about yogurt?

I don't understand how people eat yogurt. It's the most foul substance out there. It's pretty much the same as sour cream too. I'm already grossed out by sour cream that's on top of food, let alone eating it straight, the way people do with yogurt. The smell of it just fills up the room like dirty gym socks.

Is it some kind of a perverted thing? The consistency is a lot like a certain substance that I certainly wouldn't want in my mouth. Are the people that eat yogurt kind of pretending that it's something else and getting off on it? That's all I can think of because I don't know why else anyone would subject themselves to something that tastes and smells so awful.

I'm not a fan of simple yogurt either but a fruit yogurt like say strawberry one, with pieces of strawberry in it, makes it quite good. Chocolate one is good as well.

I don't think most people eating it are thinking of berry flavored greek cum, but I don't know for sure.

It's not my favorite either. I have an aversion to sour cream too, except for baked potatoes. A good baked potato has to have butter and sour cream.

I only like Greek Yogurt if I am making Taziki sauce, otherwise I don't want yogurt.

If you're eating natural yogurt, you have to put some sugar in it, usually brown sugar. But usually the yogurt you buy at the store has flavor or fruit added to it, vith vanilla-flavored yogurt being very popular.

Bro, what kind of trash yogurt are you eating?

Have you tried Greek with fruits, or flavoured greek, maybe with honey and some granola.. it's fucking awesome. AND its healthy for you.

I think you're being completely oblivious about the variety of yogurts there is.

Wow, sounds like you've only been exposed to either out-of-date yogurt or actual shit that someone claimed was yogurt. The yogurt I eat doesn't smell or taste like gym socks. That being said, I suppose it's an acquire taste like coffee. I eat it every single day with fresh blueberries. Absolutely delicious.

And...

No, it's not the same as sour cream. Beside the protein, calcium and other beneficial factors, the whey has probiotics that, much like relish, kimchi, etc., are good for your gut. Not at all a self-indulgent food (unless you eat the shitty, sweetened stuff).

Try some alt yogurts:
- Icelandinc Provisions brand skyr (Peach Cloudberry flavor is best flavor)
- Silk brand almond milk yogurt (chocolate and vanilla are amazing)

Live from NeoGAF, it's Friday Night!
It is good for your immune system and your psyche.
It provides vitamine B12, A, D, calcium, kalium and magnesium.
Most of the lactose from milk is broken down in yoghurt, so that it can also be enjoyed by people with lactose intolerance.
Because it contains countless lactic acid bacteria that have a positive effect on the intestinal flora and microbiome, the yogurt supports your digestion.

It is also a core ingredient of Tzatziki!

To me as a yogurt lover, your opinion seems completely biased.

Greek yogurt 2-3 times a week. Keeps my gut happy. Like any non-super-fake flavor, coconut probably number one.

I eat plain yogurt in many varieties but generally prefer those with a thicker texture from Greek to skyr.

When I get bored of that I'll add cinnamon or vanilla and occasionally honey. I also use it in protein shakes as a thickener.

I usually eat plain yogurt everyday sometimes full fat but most of the time nonfat. I don't eat greek yogurt though only the regular. It tastes great along with a salad or green smoothie and some bread.

I love Greek yoghurt with honey. I know someone that keeps bees and we get a jar every year, it's amazing stuff.

Give greek yogurt a try OP.

It has protein and it tastes/smells good.

Greek is what I'm referring to. That's the "real" yogurt that isn't flavored and sugarized like our American stuff that makes it at least edible.

Note this thread was prompted by my awful coworker who spends the entire day snacking on things, including Greek yogurt. She just chows down while watching TV shows and playing games on her phone, yet complains to the bosses that she has too much to do. I despise everything about her.

Used to eat plain greek yogurt daily with a smoothie. Great stuff for the gut and it's got a lot of protein.

I haven't pooped that good since. Think I gotta start doing that again.
