Sorry, you just sound like a genius to me.How I solved the cube:
First, I realized that each square as a right place and only one place. You can solve one of the sides but It can be wrong. If it's correct the entire first line and the top will be right. This part is easy.
Next I decided to make some random move that wouldn't mess that first line. I then analysed wich squares were moved. As it turned out, only 3 squares moved and they alternate their positions. Repeating this exact move 3 times would only move these squares, at the 4rth move they would return to their initial positions. Knowing this, I could have control of a few squares and send them to were I wanted to. This allowed me to complete the second row. Now I have the top , the first row and the second row done. Now comes the tricky part and it's hard to explain, but by using the exact same move and a few square posiioning and control I was able to get almost everything in place except for 3 squares. And guess what? Those 3 squares are the ones that change places when I make the move. For those 3 last squares, I was just lucky. Try, after try in repositioning them, I got lucky and they ended up in the right places.
It was such a feeling when those final 3 squares fell into position!
Or maybe i'm so stupid that the average person looks like a genius to me. But i'm pretty sure the average person can't solve the cube without instructions or tactics.
